Lions Park

This 6.6 acre park is located next to the Black River, and it is popular for fishing, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, picnics, and walking the trail. A playground is available for children. During the salmon and steelhead run, many people come to view the fish as they swim upriver. Pavilion rental (with restroom access) is available for picnics and reunions via reservation through City Hall. This park is also the trailhead for the 20.9 mile Black River Heritage Water Trail.

Thank you to the Bangor Lions Club for helping to make Lions Park possible.
