EDC/ Industrial Park


BANGOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The City of Bangor Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is administered by EDC Board, as regulated by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Act (Act 338 of 1974), Chapter 31 of the City Code of Ordinances, and their Articles of Incorporation (December 21, 1977). The Bangor EDC owns most of the vacant lots in the Industrial Park, and is responsible for selling those lots to prospective industries.



OLLIE HOSIER INDUSTRIAL PARK

Bangor's Ollie Hosier Industrial Park is certified through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA). Please see the MEDA webpage for more information about the Ollie Hosier Industrial Park.

MILL POND

Back in 1996, the EDC Board commissioned the Report on the Feasibility of Reimpounding the Black River. Two other reports studied the mill pond issue since then.
The Black River Watershed Management Plan - 2009 (and its appendix) are also helpful to consider.
